Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson, born on July 24, 1975 was an American former professional wrestler. Wilson is best known for her work with World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly called the World Wrestling Federation. She was also model and Miss Galaxy competitor in 1999. After her win, she was hired by World Championship Wrestling. She joined the organization from 1999 until 2000. In 2001, she began to appear on World Wrestling Federation's (WWF) as part of The Invasion, a storyline that was based off the WWF storyline. [5] The most notable storylines occurred in 2002, when she fought Dawn Marie. [5][9] Then in 2003 she was paired with Sable. Wilson has been part of the all-female stable which is a group of characters who are part of storylines. She was first exposed to the sport as a fan at a World Championship Wrestling(WCW) event in 1999. The show was followed by her being asked to go backstage and walk out into the ring along with Scott Steiner. Seven minutes later, Kevin Nash expressed an interest in a storyline with her. The first time she appeared was in the episode Nitro on February 8, 1999 (later renamed "Samantha") The storyline was that Wilson was recruited to seduce David Flair by the New World Order. [5][14] On February 21, Wilson slapped Ric at SuperBrawl IX, David attacked him with a taser. [15] Ric received the WCW World Heavyweight Championship by Hollywood Hogan. This was in an Uncensored match , in which an uncensored Barbed Wire Steel Cage match was played. David and Wilson took off from WCW television, but returned to the ring in May. Wilson was Flair's personal assistant at the 1999 Bash at the Beach. He won the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship from Dean Malenko.
