Aahoo Jansouzshahi (10 January 1980), better known as Sarah Shahi, an American actress and former model. She was the actress who played Carmen in The L Word 2005. Kate Reed, USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-12), and Sameen Shaw in CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012)-2016. 2] She's also performed the main role as Det. Dani Reese in Life,[3] as well as in a supporting role in Alias. The actress was also a star in Reverie in the year 2018. She was a frequent character in the show City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[5[5]. She also appeared in seven episodes of The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic interest Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women In Texas. In the set, she was inspired by Altman to move to Hollywood and was cast in Alias and Dawson's Creek. She played the second season's character in the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as seen on The L Word in 2005. Shahi's two-year contract was not renewed following the end of season four. She was also written out.
