Dolly-Parton
born on January. 19th, 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn into a poverty-stricken family which would later comprise 12 kids Dolly Parton learned early to get away from the struggles of life by using her vivid and broad imagination. Before learning how to read or write Dolly Parton had already begun to compose her own music. After getting her first guitar at the age of 8, she began to play on radio stations in Knoxville, Tennessee. In the same year, she recorded her first record on Gold Band Records a tiny independent label. In high school she established herself local, but longed for an even bigger stage. In the exact day that she was able to graduate from the high school in 1964. Her first charting records for Monument Records included Dumb Blonde and Something Fishy both in 1967. Porter Wagoner's syndicated TV show required the services of a new singer by this time. Parton accepted the job and in the year 1967, she signed with RCA Records in 1968 and became a member of with the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. The band split in 1974, when her solo hits like Joshua Coat of Many Colors & Jolene outsold the collaborations. Parton was a part of the group that split after the end of their collaboration with Wagoner she wrote the song"I Will Never Love You and saw it climb to No. The first time it reached No. 1 was 1974.
