Taylor Swift is that rarest of pop phenomenons A superstar who managed to completely cross over from the country music scene to making her an iconic celebrity and then conquering the world in the process. Swift left her heritage in country music as if she was a second skin, and revealed she had the finest pop sensibility of her generation. Swift was the only musician/singer to take the popular zeitgeist on the road. Swift's early songs, including her neo celebration of Tim McGraw, showed off the talents of her. The album from 2008 Fearless showed a singer-songwriter who was re-discovering herself and gaining a huge following. Fearless had a great success not only on American soil, with six platinum-certified songs. Its Top Ten songs Love Story and I Belong with Me were the most important reasons. However, it did well all over the world. Swift could build on her popularity by releasing Speak Now almost two year later. With her subsequent three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017), the popularity of Swift grew, and she became part of a music scene where it was clear that she belonged. Although she slowed down the production of her folklore album, and Evermore albums in the year 2020, she was nevertheless leading the way in pop music.
